Matt Tettleon (left) is a PhD candidate in literature at the University of Colorado Boulder, specializing in multi-ethnic U.S. literature, critical sports studies, and surveillance studies. Matt holds degrees from TCU and the University of Texas at Arlington and is a diehard fan of all Dallas-based pro sports teams. Dez caught it.
Kyle Belanger (center) is a longtime member of the sports media, having covered multiple Super Bowls and March Madnesses. In addition, he is the lead host for the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame’s live interview series “60 Days of Summer,” as well as the HoopHall’s Legend’s podcast. He is on the Communications/Sports Journalism faculty at Springfield College, Birthplace of Basketball.
Joel Sronce (right) is a graduate student at UNC-Chapel Hill. A lifelong sports fan, he has delved into the intersection of sports and literature, including five presentations (and counting) at the Sports Literature Association’s annual conferences. More recently, he has been exploring the intersection of sports, human rights, and politics, hoping to connect new dots for how sports can make effective and necessary political arguments for building solidarity and challenging injustice.
